Grand Opening

Hello everybody

I'm having the Grand Opening for "The Imagery Studio" schedule for May 9th 2008 from 5PM to 8PM, it's a Friday, so maybe you can stop by after work or before going out Friday evening and see the new space. The studio will have really exciting things happening that day. You'll get the chance to visit the studio, see new products and new website, chat with the photographer and take advange of special discounts.

By attending you can enter to win a free portrait sitting on studio or location, that can be used for maternity, babies, family, seniors or engagement sessions (a $150.00 value). The drawing for this raffle will be on Monday May 12th, and the lucky winner will be announced on the blog.

Trash the dress

This is my friend Ana, we did a session that some people call bridal portraits, others call "trash the dress". We didn't necessarily trashed the dress, it certainly got dirty, but it has to be sent to the dry cleaners anyway. We took a lot of fun and non tradicional shots, things that you don't get the chance to do on the wedding day because most of the couples reserve an hour for formals, bridal party and family portraits and by the time we are finished we have between 15 minutes to half hour to photograph the bride and groom, which is almost impossible to get to these fun shots. I recommned to either leave more time on the wedding day or schedule a session after the wedding, so we can shoot on a cool place, no stress about having to get to the reception or even worries about getting your dress dirty.
This is one of the new services that we are offering through the new studio The Imagery Studio.

I have BIG NEWS coming!

I've been working non-stop since December on my new business, actually the business is not new, but everything about the business it is.

I'm opening a studio in Worcester MA, The Imagery Studio. The name is new too. I'm currently designing the new website, I will also have beautiful new products coming. Albums, canvases, art line, cards, etc.

The studio will be a great place to meet with clients, showcase my new products and of course will be a cozy space for some studio shootings too. I still offer location photography (my favorite, by the way).
