Hey everybody, I just wanted to let you know that I'll be lecturing a series of Photography Classes, starting in February. These classes are for people that enjoy photography and want to learn the technical and creative principals of this art, also we'll be dipping into more advanced techniques on Module III. Please find bellow the information for the Classes, Module I starting on February, on evenings, check the blog soon for dates.
Module I, learn the technical part of photography, the buttons on the camera and what are they for, and how to use them creatively. Light meter, Exposure Value, Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO, Depth of Field, the Zone System and Exposure Compensation.
Module II, learn the creative aspect of photography, how to take your work from a snapshot to a photograph. Composition, Perspective, Depth of field, Color, Direction of light and Quality of light.
Module III, expand your knowledge and experiment with these new techniques. White Balance, Selective focus, Histogram, High and Low Key, Understand natural and available light better, Painting with light, Panning.
All classes will have handouts, assignments and reviews from the preview class.
At the end of all three Modules we will have an open Gallery Show featuring the student's work here at the studio.
Classes will be limited to 10 people, we want to keep small so you can you really learn.
Modules will be of 5 weeks, with evening classes of 2 hours.
Cost of each module $200.
Required: SLR camera with the ability to use it in Manual ( I can help you choose a camera at registration, if you don't have one yet)
